Jake Onishi

Born in Ontario, Canada, I have been fascinated with the outdoors and wild animals since I was a little kid.

Like other predators in nature, I loved fish from day one, and even more, loved finessing them to eat.

I have a deep rooted love for everything smallmouth and spend almost every day I don’t work targeting them.

On the days I don’t, vertically jigging for drag ripping lake trout has quickly become a favourite, and I’ll tell you one thing, you HAVE to try it.

I hope to share my passion with the world and help show how DOPE fishing really is!
